About Perry Swenson
Hi, I'm Perry Swenson! Thank you for checking me out through Spotlight Portfolios. I am very excited to be a part of this new era of Social Media! A little about me...I received my first set of clubs at the age of 4 and have been playing ever since. Golf is a huge part of my family so I was sort of destined to play. I love every aspect of the game and the challenges that arise which keep me on my toes. I was born in Charlotte, NC where I started my career as a professional golfer. North Carolina is definitely dear to my heart, but Texas has a special place in it too. I graduated from the University of Texas in Austin on a golf scholarship and received a degree in Finance in 2005. Some of the best times of my life...Go Longhorns!
I feel very blessed to have been given the chance to play around the world and with so many wonderful and talented women and men. They have taught me everything I needed to know and more. In my spare time, I enjoy making people laugh, watching scary movies, hanging with my new husband and stuffing my face with mini snickers! I would love to make a difference in the world by helping others enjoy the game of golf and aspire to be a future spokeswoman on the Golf Channel.

"I have played golf with Perry. She has loads of talent and will have a very bright future on the LPGA tour."
Dr. Bob Rotella, Famous Golf Sports Psychologist
"Perry is ready for the LPGA tour and the LPGA tour is ready for her."
Dick Hill, Former Senior Instructor, Dave Pelz Golf Schools
"I have known Perry for four years and have played golf with her on several occasions. She played in my LPGA event twice and was a big hit with the fans. I have always been impressed by Perry's length off the tee. She certainly has the game and attitude to be a factor on the LPGA tour."
Betsy King, LPGA tour player, and a member of the LPGA Hall of Fame
"It has been an honor and a pleasure to coach Perry. She has one of the best work ethics I have seen since Kelli Kuehne. Perry is very passionate about the game of golf, and is dedicated to accomplish her goals at the highest level. She has been a great inspiration to the coaching staff, and to her many teammates at The University of Texas. I truly feel as though Perry is not only a great ambassador for women's golf, but a great ambassador for women's sports."
Susan Watkins, Women's Golf Coach, University of Texas at Austin
