Hal along with his wife Kris are parents to Maddie, TJ and Nico. "When I'm not working, much to my enjoyment, virtually all weekends and most nights are spent in a gym or on a softball or baseball field somewhere either as a spectator or volunteer coach." When not involved in coaching youth sports Hal enjoys seasonal activities with his family such as skiing, golf or spending time at the beach.

Hal has been employed at Tursack, Inc since 1987. "It is extremely rewarding to know I've contributed significantly to our growth from a small "Mom & Pop" shop back in 1987 to now be recognized amongst the elite printing companies not only in the Mid Atlantic region but nationally as part of Consolidated Graphics."
